Today I saw my sister the happiest that she has ever been! Jeremy, we enjoyed getting to meet you! We hope to see you soon!

Tim Tebow

When Alabama beat Florida, the entire nation saw Tim Tebow cry on national television. Deacon was one of those, and has not let anyone forget it! (Along with some help from his daddy!) "Roll Tide made Tim Tebow cry like baby", was what he said the next day! At first it was cute and everyone would laugh, but now I think that it is part of Deacon's vocabulary. Any time that ANYONE cries including himself, he follows it with "like Tim Tebow"! So the other day we were getting Deacon's hair cut, which he hates and usually cries the entire time. He sat there so big and did not cry at all and when it was over he came over to me and said "Me not cry like Tim Tebow"! Don't get me wrong, it is very cute and something that we will never forget, but Tim......don't take it personally!!!

NOW

Boy, does time fly by. It seems like only yesterday Deacon was our little boy and now he is "so big"! Recently he has learned the word now, which I am sure that I use quite often. Well the only problem is that he thinks that he can use it towards his parents and it should work the same way! So now when he asks for something, he follows it with "NOW"!!! Of course this is not the way we would like for him to talk to others, especially adults, so usually he ends up in time out!! I always thought that we would not want him to learn bad words or other rude things to say, I never worried about "NOW"!

A Year in Review - 2009

This year has been a great one for us! We started out our year in Gatlinburg, and it has been non stop from then on. Our year was full of adventure whether it was on the road or here at home! Deacon has grown so much and is such a blessing in our lives! As 2010 approaches, I am excited to see what God has in store for our family this upcoming year! HE has blessed us so much, and we are so thankful!
